In purpose-driven organizations, leaders care deeply about their people and that is often exactly why accountability breaks down. Expectations stay vague. Hard conversations get delayed. And over time, confusion quietly erodes trust, performance, and impact.

In this session, Zach Montroy reframes accountability as one of the most compassionate and human things a leader can offer. We will explore why purpose alone is not enough to create healthy cultures and how clarity, courage, and consistency turn values into everyday leadership behavior. Participants will learn practical ways to replace avoidance with alignment and good intentions with clear, supportive expectations that help people and organizations thrive.

Learning Objective:

Participants will understand how clarity and accountability support, rather than undermine, trust and inclusion and leave with practical tools to hold courageous, human conversations that strengthen culture, performance, and purpose.
